Services & Office Hours
At the Gosper County Sheriff’s Department, we provide several essential public services to support the safety and administrative needs of our community. Below you’ll find our current service availability and hours of operation.
Fingerprinting
Tuesdays & Thursdays
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Fingerprinting services are available twice weekly for employment, licensing, and background‑check requirements.
VIN Inspections
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
VIN inspections are performed during regular weekday hours. Please ensure your vehicle and proper documentation are present at the time of inspection.
Sex Offender Registry (SOR) Registration
By Appointment Only
To ensure privacy and proper processing, SOR registrations are handled through scheduled appointments. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office to arrange a time.
Handgun Permits
Handgun permit applications are processed promptly:
- Submitted before 12:00 PM:Â Returned same day
- Submitted after 12:00 PM:Â Returned next business day
